Chye Seng Huat Hardware (CSHH) is a renowned café in Kallang; once a hub for metal and hardware companies, the cafe pays homage to its industrial roots. The name, 'Flourish Again,' was collaboratively chosen by the landlord and PPP Coffee (formerly Papa Palheta) to honour the site's hardware heritage. Now the flagship store of PPP Coffee, Chye Seng Huat Hardware serves as a home for coffee enthusiasts. The Roastery, a focal point within, offers patrons a captivating view of the transformation of green beans, a nod to coffee's mechanical background, setting the stage for the rich flavours in their cups. CHYE SENG HUAT HARDWARE REVIEWS
Very nice coffee place. They roast their own beans and brew there and then. Food and pastry is very nice too. They have a retail outlet which sell coffee machines, beans and brewing utensils. Highly recommended if u love coffee.
A great place to start your day with family or friends! A lot of options. Their cold brew is pretty good! Sweet and savoury food are both great. It tends to get busy during weekends!
Really solid cafe specializing on speciality coffee (which is rare in Singapore), with some equivocal shop name ("Hardware"). The atmosphere, especially the outdoor section, was great. The downside is that it tends to be rather crowded most of the time of the day, particularly on weekends. Tried their drip ice coffee, drip coffee, and espresso. All were very well-done - the bean choice of the light roast ice coffee was spot on - fruity with right balance of sweetness and zestiness. The single-origin brew (I tried the citrusy Ethiopia's Koke Shalaye) was served in stylish serving. Weirdly enough, the espresso was served along side a glass of sparkling water (?). The price of the coffee and meals, similar to other speciality coffee-serving shops in Singapore, is predictably steep.

TOLIDO'S ESPRESSO NOOK REVIEWS
My go-to cafe for reliably delicious and reasonably priced food. Coffee is a bit of a hit-and-miss (Douglas the boss makes it the best) so if the consistency improves, there is literally nothing else to complain about other than the long queues that are a testament to Tolido's popularity. Highly highly recommend their prawn laksa pasta. I've tried many others and they've all paled in comparison.
Finally tried out this cafe last weekend! Rösti is nice, shall give it a try. We also ordered banana toast which is very eggy and fragrant. Thumbs up!
Visited Tolido’s on a Thursday morning for brunch and it was packed with tourists! My favourite was the Truffle Scrambled Eggs and Salted Caramel Ice Blended Mocha! Portion for the mains were big and damnn… it tasted amazing!! Best of all, pricing of their food and drinks were super reasonable as compared to other cafes.. 2 pax (2 mains + 2 drinks) for only $56! They have lunch sets and promotions going on as well. This cafe is now my no.1 go-to cafe! Highly recommend!

BRUNCHES CAFE REVIEWS
My family and I went in on a Saturday, they had live band singing through the night, we were surrounded by Xmas decorations and old school vibes. We got their Xmas dinner set, where the main dish are not in the regular menu. Love the lamb shank, it was very tender and savoury. My family had a blast chatting, enjoying the food and singing all through the night. The entire cafe sang me a birthday song too. It was a very memorable night. Thank you Brunches Cafe.
A very atmospheric, cozy and enchanting cafe. Sitting inside it temporarily takes your mind off all hustle bustle, letting you enjoy your meal fully. I visited on a weekday lunch time and the crowd was just right for a peaceful lunch. The current Christmas decorations further add to the ambience. Coffee was great, service was impeccable and the food boasts just the right portion for an adult man. I will definitely return for more memorable meals.
Ended the day with delicious desserts at Brunches Cafe. The Waffles are fluffy, crispy & tasty. Molten Lava Cake is a must try. Overall atmosphere & decoration is retro.
