The missus grew up eating here so I we decided to come here for our iftar/break fast meal. We came an hour early and the uncle asked us what we want as he can keep our orders aside JIC they’re sold out. Ordered a serving of Mee Goreng and Mee Kuah. Both are amazing. After which we got a cheeky Kambing Soup to clear the cravings.. The Mee Goreng has a very subtle wok hei and the noodles are cut short so eating it won’t be a chore. Ingredients wise, plenty of veggies, shards of egg and mutton were plentiful and the meat still tasted fresh! Every bite was delicious with all of the components together. I love the fact that there were diced tomatoes, giving it a kick of freshness to cut through the savouriness. The Mee Kuah was great. The gravy was not overly thick nor thin, just nice in my opinion. Generous amount of meat and veg and the rempah they use tasted really home made and the colouring didn’t stain my fingers. The Mutton Soup was hearty and clean. No gaminess to the meat and all. Uncle gave us the last portion (2 tulangs) and we were grateful for it. Meat was super tender! With plenty of marrow. Uncle was kind to charge us just $5 for this bowl. Overall a great experience. Service was great and Uncle was really kind. Deserves more than 5 stars for that.

Good old school mee goreng shenton way style! Must be one of the old guard cook from back in the day. Life slows down while you are here enjoying mee goreng mata lembu with teh tarik. The only 2 shops open here after 4pm.

The best Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Mee Kuah....etc. for the last over 20 years...nasi goreng, mee goreng all fried with loads of beef and potato. The best taste in Singapore.
