Visited on a Friday afternoon, there isn't a crowd so we were quickly seated. Sheena, the waitress was efficient and polite, serving the floor alone at that moment. We ordered Ginseng chicken soup that serves two. Chicken was soft and tender, breaking apart easily. I do find the soup a little more on the savoury side with a subtle ginseng taste rather than that a strong herbal taste. Buffet was a relatively balance spread of salad, korean banchan and some hot food and Haagen-dazs ice cream. Too bad chocolate wasn't available at that time. 3 different kind of hot soup was available, western mushroom soup, fish cake soup and a kimchi soup. Overall we enjoyed the food and service, leaving with a very full tummy.
The banchan spread was quite extensive. The kimchi, radish, lotus root, pickled pumpkin was exceptionally well done. Mushroom soup was delicious. We had the Kimchi stew as the main meal and we enjoyed it. Served my Nazmi & Sheena, very welcoming, polite and served us with great customer service.
Ginseng Chicken is very flavourful. There is variety of side dishes, and each is good in its in own right. I love the pickled white radish - very appetising. The other dish i like is the pickled lotus roots.
