Himawari Japanese Restaurant

We had the buffet. The food portion was just right (not too much) so you can try more variety from the buffet spread. Sashimi was fresh and thick. The grilled dishes (Salmon fish head and beef) were nice too. The service from the staff were top notch, very friendly. My family already mention that they will like to visit Himawari again.

The Japanese a la carte buffet provides exceptional value for its price. The sashimi servings are generously portioned with thick, fresh cuts reminiscent of those in Japan. Although the atmosphere is pleasant, the decor seems a bit outdated. The sukiyaki portions are large and incredibly filling. Overall, it was a highly positive experience, but reservations are recommended. Interestingly, many diners opt to order from the à la carte menu rather than choosing the buffet option.

Nice cozy place to enjoy some charcoal grilled Japanese seafood. Not a raw seafood person so I would go for their wagyu beef, chicken nanban, grilled salmon belly and honeydew. Japanese chef is very friendly including his team of service crew.
