Hotel 81 Premier Star

I had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is extremely conveniently located. MRT station is a short walk to hotel and bus stop connecting you to main city attractions is literally around the corner from hotel. The staff were very kind and friendly. I couldn’t be more grateful to manager Patrick, he was exceptionally helpful with guidance navigating the city. As a solo traveler safety is very important to me and I can’t stretch how safe I felt my entire stay here. Regarding the surrounding area I was able to walk at night without any issues coming back from my nearby attractions. I even stopped for dinner one night and headed safely back to my room. I would definitely stay here again!!!!!

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. A/C worked great, plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Comfortable, warm bed. Strong wifi connection with individual connections for each room. Mini fridge was effective and clean. Staff was able to point us toward restaurants, gave instructions for the bus system, lent us an umbrella, offered late check out, called us a cab at one point, and even made change for us to use on the bus.

Room was better than expected. Recommended as long as you don't mind it's near a red-light district. Not too far walking to MRT stations.
