The most divine Siva Durga Temple in Singapore. The temple dates to 1906 and was relocated a few times to be finally over here in 1982. A few years back a new structure was created with marvellous carvings of devas on the ceilings. It’s truly a powerful devotion place with many deities including Goddess Durga (big and small), Lord Shiva and many more. Have been coming here for more than 6 years and it’s just wonderful. For those who’ve realised, It’s easy to decipher the presence of universe on the ever smiling Goddess Durga’s forehead
Went at 5:50pm on monday. Archanai counter opens at 6pm but you can still enter the temple to walk around and familiarize. My mum brought me when I was a kid and the revisit felt good. Peaceful. Durgai Amman was looking so beautiful. Can just keep looking at her
This is a well organised and maintained temple. There was many devotees there at evening time. Idol of lord was very attractive.
