Singapore have really great community clubs, this particular one is small scale as this is an old housing area. Still, this club house is newly and well renovated, with well planned facilities and rooms. Love it that old chang kee is here for breakfast or snack.
Nostalgic for me, I grew up in this area.
I usually come over here for breakfast or afternoon tea at the old chang Kee cafe. Quiet atmosphere. Nice coffee & toast. Not a great fan of deep fried stuff.
Nice ambient, nice friendly staff, not crowded on weekends, maybe I was there early! I like the chicken curry and the porridge was flavourful. I got to minus some points for the fried fritters though, taste was a bit bland. But generally I like it here, will definitely come back here again.
