Visited this place to experience the legendary biryani stall located in rustic Changi Village. The biryani rice exuded a very delightful homey fragrance, resembling Nasi Minyak but with a slightly lighter touch of Ghee and spices. The accompanying curry featured carrots, potatoes, and an incredibly tender lamb meat with a generous amount of lamb fat. The spiced and curry-coated fried chicken and kambeng was quite good as well. A beautiful lunch at just around $10. Conveniently, they accept PayNow, and parking is readily available.
I wanted to share with you my recent experience at Cahaya Timur, a makan place in Changi village. They specialize in serving dum briyani cuisine, offering a variety of options including mutton, lamb shank, chicken, fish, prawn, and crab.
Had a Satisfying meal of Briyani. Nice Aroma, Great Taste which come in Big Portion. Great for Gathering of friends & relatives while enjoying their dishes.
