Skinny Cakes

Their Japanese rare tofu cheese cake is one lovely tofu cheese cake I've tried. I'm normally quite old school about cakes but was very happy to have tried this. Highly recommended. But on recent visits, my GP is nearby, I was drawn by delicious wafting smells of butter of my favourite pastry, the humble croissant which is really something to sing about. Finally all this is from a little unassuming bakery and kitchen in Book Keng MRT Station, it is truly a gem with heart go try, free heavenly smells.

I have been walking past this shop every Friday for a few months but never went in. The bakes always smells really nice from outside. Today i caught a glimpse of the word “apple pie” on their chalkboard (or maybe just a board) and i decided to buy them. I should have bought them earlier. It was really good! Flaky, buttery and you can taste chunks of apple bits.

My favorite cakes. Less sweet but super delicious. Must try the signature Japanese tofu cheese cake, silky tasty. I love their chocolate cakes too. The cake shop is conveniently located at Boon Keng MRT station. I parked my car at the HDB clusters there and walked down to B1 via the escalator , the Skinny Cakes is right infront .
