A little sweet treat after lunch led me to Rise Bakehouse. Ordered an Iced Americano to go with not one, but two cakes (because seriously, who can resist that gorgeous cake display the moment you walk in?). Every cake looks so pretty and eye-catching and total dessert temptation central. In the end, I went for the Kopi Tiramisu and Kaya Pistachio cakes. Both were delicious, rich, and paired perfectly with the coffee. Yummm, worth every bite!

Their drinks and desserts are a treat with a local twist — think Strawberry Matcha Cloud Latte, Granny Smith Apple Yakult, and the refreshing Honey Pear Chrysanthemum Cake The mains were pretty average though — pictured here is the Rise Breakfast Waffle and truffle mushroom soup.

I've been intending to visit Rise Bakehouse for a while. I happened to be in Chinatown today and dropped by. The tiramisu cream latte was delicious, and the hazelnut chocolate praline cake added a festive touch. My family member commented that the black sesame latte was tasty as well. A wonderful experience!
