My first time at populus cafe. I love the ambiance and the location is in the centre. i had white - The coffee is superb, strong taste but since I order 8-oz size it was well balanced. Also I like the lime cake, you can taste the sour lime taste and it’s not too sweet which is good for the balance with the cofee. Will definitely comeback again.
The atmosphere & aroma of coffee gives this place a cozy vibe. We ordered Soba with Halibut, arguable one of the best dishes we have ever eaten. The fish was cook to perfection, neither too oily nor burnt. The buckwheat pancake was fine, more like a cake than pancake. Didn’t really enjoy it but some might like it.
The food was, as always, fantastic! My husband and I were served by a staff member with hoop earrings - didn't get his name - and we were truly impressed by his excellent service and warm, friendly attitude. Thank you.
