It been a long while since we visited this place. While walking we saw the photo outside the shop. Went over to recee the area and back to this place to try. Order the below mentioned and the reviews as follow, Crispy, buttery crust with a smooth creamy cheese filling, made this Burnt cheese cruffin one of such memorable eats. I’m also recommending their Burnt cheesecake which is made with a mix of 4 types of cheese.
Enjoy the green tea croissant so much! Every week, we gotta head down to get them. Ops! The price is a little expensive compare to other bakery store, but the quality you are paying is worth every bite of mouth. My go to bakery other than four leave.
Bought two face, pandan, seashore and chocolate. All were delicious! Will be back to try its original burnt cheesecake again.

Bought a variety of breads and pastries to try and these are amazing! My favourite was the cinnamon roll which was so soft, it felt like I was eating a cinnamon cloud. It wasn't too sweet either which I liked. I also enjoyed the country loaf! Chewy and soft with a great crust. Made some pretty good sandwiches with the bread! I also loved the fluffy olive bread! It was so good, you can eat it on its own. Glad to know they have an outlet in the east which I can go to.
A classy bakery with a fine elegance of their own. Their bread are priced on a slightly higher side, it taste great. Very cosy environment. If you are taking away do remember to heat up! Follow the instructions on the paper bag. I highly recommend to visit to try. Prices of bread starts from 3.5 and above. Still a wonderful place to visit on a weekend.
Went there for a lighter lunch and ordered the bacon sandwich. Phenomenal. Bread was crunchy om the outside and soft on the inside. The crackers served on the side were delicious and they remind me of the prawn crackers you eat during CNY just without the prawn filling. Nicely layered and crunchy. Would definitely eat again.

Poh Guan Cake House is a traditional Bakery that supplies baked items and cakes. It was established in 1930, and it is one of the very few shops that still serve up close to the original taste. All the products are made with the actual french butter and wheat flour with high taste quality. They provide variations like black sesame as well as black pepper. In addition to the Bakery sweets, the cake house supplies a variety of pastry which is the central part of the shop. Enjoying the old school memory by tasting pastries and candies, Poh Guan Cake House is the best place to hand out with friends.

Old school pastry shop, I like! Assortment of pastries from tau sa piah to fa gao. Bought some grey kueh that looks like a beng kueh. It has salty bean paste inside. Was good! Tasted like the grey ang ku kueh but just bigger haha. Prices were cheap and affordable. The "beng kueh" was $1.50. Auntie and Uncle were friendly too.
I am usually not a fan of chinese pastries but this one changed my mind. Looks unassuming but the texture and taste is just right for me.
Want to eat snacks and sweets that remind you of your primary school days, head down here and take a look...we bought the sweet flour cakes that are wrapped in pink paper to try with our adults kids. They said: "huh"...what is this?...just try lah, your mum and dad ate it when we were kids in primary school days:)
