San Lian Deng Temple is one of the famous Buddhist temples in Sembawang. The Temple was opened on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month in 1988. The Temple consists of the Hall of Mercy, Jade Emperor, Merits, and Temple of the Gods Hall. The Hall of Mercy is dedicated to the South China Sea Guanyin Buddha. The people believe Jade Emperor is the first god with the highest power. The Temple has a serene and tranquil environment, allowing visitors and devotees to pray, chant and meditate in peace. Therefore, the Temple held several celebratory activities. They welcome all the devotees and people worldwide to submit their prayers and find inner peace.

This is a guan yin temple. My beloved pet Maltese urn was placed in this temple. This is one of the few temples that accept dog's urn. Staff at the temple are mostly friendly and helpful.
