Visited Tiong Bahru Bakery on a late Sunday afternoon. The cafe was bustling with customers, but we managed to secure a table shortly after arriving. The Brie Roasted Mushroom Croissant and Exotic Cheesecake were impeccable. The croissant combined the richness of brie cheese with the earthy flavours of roasted mushrooms, creating a harmonious blend of tastes. The velvety smooth cheesecake filling was infused with lemon, offering a burst of sourness to complement the creamy richness of the cheese.
The OG of Tiong Bahru. Usually go for their plain croissants cos it never fails to disappoint. Tried their sandwiches this round and they were delicious and filling. Had them at brunch, wasn’t even hungry at dinner. We got the bacon and egg scramble & the chili chicken sandwiches.
Visited on a midweek morning, the atmosphere was cozy with not too many visitors. The flaky croissant accompanied by a cup of coffee and tea was a perfect combination. The food here always makes us want to come back.
