Drips Bakery Cafe @ Tiong Bahru

Whenever I am nearby I'll drop by. In my opinion the best tarts I've ever had. Love their Chocolate truffle, rich yet not sweet. Fruit tarts are awesome too. What makes the tarts really good is the crust which is perfectly done to my personal liking, not too soft. Ambience is relaxing, brilliant for personal chilling or hangouts with friends. The tart prices have increased so much over the years but I kept returning because it's that good ha! Having said that, drink prices are pretty reasonable, cappuccino is good. Street parking available but might be challenging during peak hours.

The desserts here remain as delightful as ever, especially the seasonal fruit tart. The fresh fruits atop a vanilla base had just the right balance of texture and sweetness, perfectly complementing the fruits' natural acidity. The cheese tart was equally impressive—I found myself praising it from the very first bite. The iced flat white was another highlight, boasting a rich and robust coffee flavor, unlike the watered-down versions often found elsewhere.

Booked the cafe for our Christmas party and the arrangements by the staff were great in planning, preparation and also execution on the ground. They facilitated our party and needs very well and the food and drinks were served to the guests very timely and well. We were also able to use the mezzanine floor for our kids programme which helped a lot. Will certainly consider Drips for another party event next time as well.
