Happy to see another Gokoku branch in Jurong Point Shopping Mall. There had another branch in Great World City Mall. Crowded, despite the fact that the store had two cashiers and they were quite fast in their work, there was still a long queue. Wide variety of bread available. Tried their bread. Good and tasty. Would definitely buy bread from this brand again.
Amazing bakery and I really enjoy their scones flavour and texture, their shichifuku pan’s chewy texture - like a much chewier bagel where I personally feel eating plain is a bit boring so adding some sort of spread / component into the bun would make it much more enjoyable. Gokoku is a reliable bakery to get delicious Japanese bakes and they always have a long queue, but queue does moves fast.
My favourite is their malt kurumi pan and butter shio pan. Tastes nutty, soft, and healthy. Their other flavours are also good. Recommend to warm it up before consumption.
