Yishun Dam is simply an amazing place. Feels like out of Singapore or the Causeway to Johor Bahru. (It's literally a mini-causeway!) There are strong breezes of wind and it is peaceful and tranquil at night. Sunrise and sunset views are simply spectacular as it is picturisque, coupled with the fact that both directions are water bodies. Upgrading works are ongoing, and soon a wide PCN will be available for a smooth and comfortable ride across the dam for cyclists and pedestrians. Cycling on the road may be daunting for some, as vehicles pass at close distance and it is very loud. Nonetheless, it is a highly recommended place to vist and a must visit if you are at Seletar or Yishun to unwind, relax and take in the surroundings!
Very windy and a nice place to sit / mediate if you are feeling vexed for the day. Thou its right next to the big road, but still worth going there for a relax walk Theres a Rower's Bay Park nearby to see a very nice view of sunset and good for jogging / walking / couple paktor.
It’s next to a big road so there’s no serenity. But it’s still a nice place to stroll on days with cooler weather. There’s a park next to it which is much quieter and has lovely views of the reservoir.
