Chong Pang Combined Temple is a constituent of five temples from the northern part of Singapore, including Chin Kong Religion Fook Poon Tong, Hong San See, Kew Ong Yah, Hwa Poh Siang Tng, and Kwang Tee Temple. After years, the temples agreed on buying land on Yishun Ring Road to build the Chong Pang Combined Temple. Chong Pang Combined Temple is now a well established and popular place of worship with a beautiful traditional architecture style. The temple architecture comprises tiled roofs, flying Chinese dragons, a mini pagoda, and entrance arches.

Dong Shan Temple is a well-renowned and established temple located in Yishun. The temple was found as a modest Attap-thatched house in the 1930s on Mandai Tekong Village. It faced rebuilt and renovations. As the locality started development, the temple partnered to build Teong Siew Wei Ling Dong Shan Temple, which was completed in 1990. Dong Shan Temple has Buddha as the main deity, including other deities such as The Third Prince (Nezha), Jin Zha, Xuan Tian Shang Di, Fu De Zheng Shen (Tua Pek Kong), Five Battalion Commanders (Wu Ying Shen Jiang), Dang Nian Tai Sui, and Hu Ye (Tiger God).
