Gorgeous houses! I'd been wanting to see these for a while and finally got there. Highly recommend a walk up vibrant Joo Chiat Road (from East Coast Rd) to get there. Lots of interesting things to see on the way. Really enjoyed this area in Singapore and will be staying there for future visits.
History place about Peranakan. The house and the museum not connected. So, visit to see from outside only. Hope for more experience to see inside the peranakan houses To visit here you can go to Eunos MRT St and continue your journey by walking around 1,5km. Not that far though. There's a church nearby, when you see it. That means you're close with the Peranakan House. The Peranakan House is really eye catching so it's easy to find. It also colorful so this is a good place to be a photo spot when you visit Singapore.
These houses actually are gorgeous, but each house actually has their owners. So, please take your pictures but also respect the properties.
