"Kent Ridge Park Pond is a historical park where one of the last battles for Singapore was fought during World War II. Kent Ridge Park is an excellent place for families and history buffs to learn about Singapore's heritage. The park has a natural pond with turtles and fish in the north-west of the park. A 280-metre-long canopy walk was constructed in the eastern part of the park in October 2003, connecting Kent Ridge Park to the war museum, Reflections at Bukit Chandu, enriching the park's and museum's accessibility to the public. At the halfway point, there is a shelter for visitors to take a break or enjoy a scenic view of the National Parks Board's plant nursery.

2026 Update: Kent Ridge Park Pond is convenient to reach by car and on foot."
