Located in a historic bungalow closely tied to the site's past, the centre features immersive experiences and contextual artefacts that offer a comprehensive perspective on Bukit Chandu and Pasir Panjang. The gallery and facilities are fully accessible for wheelchair and stroller users, with manual wheelchairs available at the Visitor Services counter. Kent Ridge Park is an excellent place for families and history buffs to learn about Singapore's heritage. The park has a natural pond with turtles and fish in the north-west of the park. A 280-metre-long canopy walk was constructed in the eastern part of the park in October 2003, connecting Kent Ridge Park to the war museum, Reflections at Bukit Chandu, enriching the park's and museum's accessibility to the public.
