"Poh Ern Shih Temple was established by Mr Lee Choon Seng, the first managing director of OCBC bank. It is one of the several Mahayana temples in Singapore committed to the Ksitigarbha (Dizang) Bodhisattva who liberates the souls of the deceased. It became the first spiritual building in the country to combine both eco-friendly and elderly-friendly features. The temple takes benefit of Singapore's abundant sunlight by having three different varieties of solar energy cells on its rooftop. Poh Ern Shih also has wind and hydro-generators to completely take advantage of Singapore's weather for alternative sources of electricity."

"Chung Hong Siang Tng was built at Punggol's Jalan Kampong Tengah in 1973, known then as Xing Dao Shang Tang. It offers a beautiful and calm environment to pray. The main deity of the temple is Song Da Feng Zu Shi, and another deity is K?itigarbha. It gives you positive energy and good vibration when you enter the temple."
