Lemongrass

I especially enjoyed the beef (taking into account the price) which was cooked medium rare. The platter is a meal by itself and if you need some rice, then order a plate to share. Best to be taken with some liquids or the meal can be a bit dry - soup or drinks (a cold beer would be perfect). The cendol served here is one of my all-time favourites - generous portions of red bean, gula melaka and sweet carnation milk or ice cream. I also like the mango sticky rice. The service staff work hard and do their best to please the diners.

I have eaten at Lemongrass several times and have always enjoyed the meals. For my latest visit I ordered the Royal Platter (for my group of 4) and found it to be tasty and very good value.

Even before my wife prompted a trial I had already been eyeing Lemongrass. It's not really near where we live but the promise of the wide spread of Thai-based menu and that it is halal kept beckoning. We just wished we had done the trip earlier for after sampling just a few of what they've offered we're more than sold. We all love it. Let's begin with the wonderful friendly and engaging service.
