Peicai Secondary School

Our child adjusted to the new environment quite quickly. According to him, the school encouraged a buddy system to ensure that students felt welcome and made friends quickly, and that these friendships have lasted to this day. We can also find a clear academic structure for the year on the school website. Our child's confidence and independence have grown thanks to CCA-NPCC, Sports PinnaCle, and other ad hoc school activities organized by the school. As someone who used to be quiet and reserved in primary school, we are thrilled to see how much effort our child put forth to engage. We feel that Pecai has been successful in striking an appropriate balance between Academic and Co-Curricular activities. We personally feel that Pecai has given a lot of exposure to our child. Overall, the atmosphere at Pecai is very friendly and our child feel happy there. We are very grateful to all teachers, coordinator, and Principal.

This secondary school took me by surprise on how well organised their website which include all information from teachers, subject overview, cca and day to day school schedule. I have never seen such an organised and detail website from a neighbour school. The teachers are also very helpful toward the student and the principal is also very hands on in the operation of the school. Often you will see him around the school compound instead of the office. I glad that I have chosen this school for my daughter and she has also agree on the choice. The school has motivated her to work hard with all the helpful teachers around.

Keep up the good work. Excellent effort by Principal, teachers and staff to bring Peicai to greater heights. May the students continue to shine within and beyond Peicai.

To credit where it is due. It's quite a good school. My child is studying there. It's to an extent a hidden gem. All schools have problems especially concerns on bullying and environment concerns. I think and feel its better than most. The principal and staff did a lot to create the good and positive environment. It's significantly under represented and very much under rated. The vibes is positive when I visited the school open house and when I step in. I researched that prior to the current principal it was not always like that. Go check it out. It's not Raffles, ACS, SCGS etc but it's really pretty good. Most teachers are quite good too. The current year head is caring and thoughtful. Of course there are always certain elements but must say it's better than most schools in neighbourhood if you research and visit and feel its the vibes yourself. Overall, its good. The principal, school management and most of the staff are good from personal experience. - Harmony Reply
