Prices increased but still very reasonable. Had 2x chilli crab at $45 and 10x fried mantou $4. The crabs are fresh and sweet, chilli sauce base is less spicy and more tomato ketchup, pretty well-balanced.

Neighborhood ZhiChar place is good for crabs. We like their white pepper crab, and their creamy version of salted egg yoke crab. We always find reasons to go there for the crabs. We even order delivery when we couldn't make it down to Hougang.

2 medium sized crabs for $45 is good value. The meat is sweet and not overcooked. We absolutely love the san lor hor fun and the fried sotong. No frills eatery but except to wait at least half an hour on weekends. Highly recommend!
