The Lens Men

Great service. Stumbled upon this optician when I was looking for a specific frame brand online (Reykjavik Eyes) about half a year ago. When I contacted The Lens Men, they explained that they didn’t carry the stock anymore, but would put in a special order for the frame for me to try out without a need to commit to a purchase, which I felt was a great gesture. On to the purchase itself - the Reykjavik Eyes titanium frames are extremely light and minimal. Due to their titanium construction, they can be a bit difficult to adjust if they are exactly fitting, so do take time to make sure it’s adjusted perfectly. I went with transitions xtractive next gen for the lenses as I’m out quite a bit. Do note that if you’re planning on using them for driving in Singapore, they don’t get very dark behind the windscreen. They do get much darker in colder climates (e.g. overseas).

My husband and my son have made a few pair of spectacles at The Lens Men. We always feel very welcomed once we step into the shop. Recently my daughter felt her eyesight is not as good so we went to The Lens Men again. After a detailed eye assessment, the boss told us she doesn't need any spectacles yet, and advised her to go outdoor to play more often. My son accidentally sat on his glasses so he had to chose a new pair of specs and the boss actually took time to look for a one that's compatible to his existing lens that don't need to be changed. He also kindly gave a discount for the new pair. We really appreciate the advice and great service at The Lens Men. Thank you!

I took up their Pentax lens promotion last month and I now have a very comfortable pair of glasses. Jessie (spelling?) helped me choose the frame, took my measurements very carefully and made sure the glasses sat on my face comfortably. Definitely very happy with my purchase and I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to my family and friends.
