Island Penang Kitchen

Malaysian local food was always delicious and enjoyable, which is slightly different from local Singaporean food. Throughout their dishes, I enjoyed the salted egg prawns, their special dessert corn soup, Penang Char Kway Teow, and their fried Otah. Their dishes were tasty overall, and the prices were relatively affordable too, which gives this restaurant a great competitive edge over the other restaurants. The atmosphere felt similar to dining in one of those Malaysian shophouses, and the service was awesome. Do head down if you are missing some Malaysian Chinese food!

Assam laksa was delicious and acidic enough, tasted authentic, prawn noodles was tasty too, worth a visit! It does get very crowded during meal time.

One of the better "Penang food" places. Usually crowded during meal times. Best to come early or late as the restaurant does not have a lot of tables/seats. Ordered the usual. All very nice (good enough to satisfy cravings but still lose out to actual ones in Penang of course . Portions are reasonable for the prices. Food came fast.
