The Westin Singapore

This review is especially to thank and express our appreciation to James Walkden, the General Manager of The Westin Singapore. We encountered some difficulty securing a double-bed room for one of the nights, but James personally responded to our request late at night and ensured we were accommodated. He also provided us with a quieter room. On top of that, a birthday cake for my sister was delivered along with a personal note from James. All of these thoughtful gestures made us feel welcomed and added a special touch to our celebration. His top-notch, exceptional service made us truly grateful for his gracious hospitality.

The Westin Singapore is modern and well-suited for both business professionals and family leisure travelers. We thoroughly enjoyed the infinity pool, and it was great to see many other guests doing the same. During our stay, by coincidence, we saw James walking through the lounge, tidying up some of the areas. This demonstrates how much he cares and pride for the perfection. I took the opportunity to personally thank him for his outstanding hospitality of our stay.

In today's world, it’s rare to find a General Manager who cares so much and leads by example. Despite the challenges of the busy Chinese New Year holiday, when the hotel was bustling with guests, everything was well-managed and ran smoothly. This is a clear testament to the relentless hard work and strong leadership under James. With his leadership and stewardship, The Westin Singapore will continue to maintain its high standards of excellence, and the business will only grow stronger.
