The temple features an ancient and beautifully adorned deity, making it a site of great reverence. In common the temple is referred as the Sri Perumal Temple. The temple hosts several festivals, including Purattasi Sani, Brahmotsavam, and Vaikunda Ekadasi, which reflect the vibrant traditions of South Indian culture. The temple's architecture, decorations, and rituals are characteristic of South Indian temples. In addition to the main deity, the temple houses idols of several other deities, including Sri Vinayagar, Sri Mahalakshmi, Sri Andal, Sri Anjaneyar, Sri Vishnu Durgai, Sri Murugan, and the Alvars.
