"Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple offers excellent Hindu religious services throughout the year for daily prayers and religious events, with a clean and conducive environment for devotee worship. Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple was originally a small shrine, housed in a wooden building, located at the Alexandra Brickworks grounds at Pasir Panjang Road and catered to the Hindus working at Brickworks and those who lived in the surrounding areas. The Maha Shivaratri is an annual Hindu festival held in memory of the god Shiva. The temple also conducts dance, music, yoga and meditation classes.

2026 Update: The temple was sustained through donations collected from devotees, including Hindu employees from the Brickworks and members of the surrounding communities."
