51 OLD AIRPORT ROAD FOOD CENTRE & SHOPPING MALL REVIEWS
Walkable from Mountbatten MRT or Dakota. Many many good food stalls here! You would be spoilt for choice! You can see many stalls repeated here, like fried prawn Mee. Go for the ones with long queues and you would never go wrong! Affordable hawker prices as well, depending on what you order. Plenty of seatings available, though it would still have been slightly challenging to find seats since it's mostly crowded and there are mostly unavailable seats, due to COVID-19 measures. Would come here if I'm around the area! For the fried hokkien prawn mee and carrot cake.
Went to try the peranakan vegetarian restaurant. Very tasty and nice home cook food. Not too oily pretty good on taste and flavor. Must try for vegetarian wanting to try something different. Good job by the chef to cook such local dishes using local ingredients. Will try again instead of take away dine in probably better.
Can’t go wrong dining here. Lots of good food, but be prepared to queue especially during peak dining hours. With so much choices, it would be hard for you to decide what to eat! Prices is still reasonable for most of the stalls.

GEYLANG SERAI MARKET AND FOOD CENTRE REVIEWS
Good wet market. It was big place and sell a lot of varieties. I can find a lot of Indonesian foods and ingredients around here. There are quite a number of stores selling quite specialized food though. Compared to the one selling in Lucky Plaza, shop here sells at cheaper prices. Fresh meat closes earlier, some of the shops closes around 4pm also. It is a great place to shop for fruits as well.
Get all your spices, herbs, fresh and dried food there. Fruits, vegetables, fish and meat too. Great for a day out. Lots of restaurants and cafes to eat for lunch and dinner. Taxi stand very close by so you don’t have to walk with heavy bags. Close by are shopping centres if you want to stay away from the heat.
Love going there on the weekend. They have almost everything, the variaty is awesome. The food is delicious. The price is very reasonable. And the people is friendly.

HAIG ROAD MARKET & FOOD CENTRE REVIEWS
The best hor fun ($4.50 - enough to feed 2 people) is at ???? Fried Delight consists of silky flat rice noodles soaked in an indulgent savoury gravy with shredded chicken and braised mushrooms. Proportion is HUGE and ingredients given are generous. Big succulent prawn... Leave you coming back for more. My entire family always visit this every Sunday. The velvety smooth rice noodles were cooked to appetizing charred flavour with nice smokiness. They also have succulent beef slice hor fun drenched in luscious black bean and cut chilli which added mild spiciness, making every mouthful rather full of flavour.
One of the remaining real traditional cultural town centre. Surrounding shop houses are impressive. Ie. The choices of products and prices too. Spend some time scroll around, if you are there. whether you are local or traveller. Enjoy.
The only food that is worth having in Haig Road Food Centre is the satay from Warung Sudi Mampir Satay ( Stall ). The very best in Singapore bar none ! Forget about Satay by the Bay or Lau Pa Sat Satay !
