About

Founder and Principal of The Ballet, Joyce, is a RAD-certified teacher with over two decades of experience in Singapore. The studio provides the full spectrum of RAD classical ballet syllabus and vocational grades for all ages and abilities including teens, adults, and even senior dancers (ages 55+). They provide non-syllabus adult ballet classes and private lessons. Children as young as 2.5 years can start their journey here, beginning with "Dance To Your Tune" classes that aim to develop your child's physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality. Their other programmes include "Silver Swans" (for older adult beginners), "Mini Movers" (a multi-sensory learning class which encourages interaction). They provide "Progressing Ballet" Techniques course and "One Step At A Time". The Ballet Academy also has a branch at Toa Payoh.

The Ballet Academy is a place where my girl looks forward to going every week. Teacher Joyce is a great teacher who has a heart for children. Her caring and joyful disposition motivates my girl to attend her class every week. Teacher Joyce is also very attentive and prompt to parents’ enquiries. I did consider stopping my girl because she has too many enrichment lessons but my girl refuses to stop ballet lessons as she loves it too much. This is a testimony to a conducive and fun learning environment that the Ballet Academy provides. Keep up the great work!

My daughter has been with The Ballet Academy for 2 years (since she was 3!) and is taught by Teacher Joyce, whom I view to be very passionate in teaching and imparting her ballet skills to her students. My daughter looks forward to ballet every week and I have since recommended 2 of my friends to sign their daughters up for ballet at The Ballet Academy as well. Keep up the good work!
