Starting as Lanka Union promoting two main sports cricket and soccer-football. At the current site since 1922, initiated by famous criketer including Dr J A Scharenguival. Reconstituted as Ceylon Sports Club on 1 Jun 1928. Proper club house was erected since Apr 1930. The current club house was last renovated in 1987. Currently CSC includes Children playground Annual Scholarship Award and the Mentor Programme. Breezy greenery away from busy cityscapes. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students expats locals visitors and families.

Good and friendly place to hang out with a friendly Filipino Band and good English music from Sunday to Thursday from 8pm and reasonably priced beer, liquor and Indian food. There is an Indian band playing oldies and current Indian songs on Fridays and Saturdays. Good place for children to adults to run and play on the field.

Amazing ground but grass should be cut otherwise it's a really good ground to play a game of cricket in, I was proud to play the JID U-14 development tournament here.
