Shaw Theatres Paya Lebar Quarter

Even though it’s one of the smallest IMAX screens in Singapore now (tied with Jewel, since JCube is closed, the screen still feels and looks big as achieved by the theatre layout. I particularly love the layout of IMAX theatres as the seats were literally below my knees, so nobody’s head blocked my view. The projection was crisp and clear and the seats were comfortable. I could also hear the surround-ness of the surround sound. Good to note that the movie started after just 15 minutes after the scheduled time, which is better than a lot of theatres, both in Singapore and overseas. The cineplex itself is quite large, with quite a number of screens. The toilets were clean too. Nice theatre, highly reccomend! Nice for those living in the east.

Awesome. IMAX experience is really nice. IMAX theater seating capacity is less than 300, so the theater is small even though the screen size bigger. Better to book the center seats to get straight nice view, otherwise the head needs to be turned sideways to view the movie since the screen is near to the seating. Sound quality and picture quality is amazing.

Super clean and well maintained theatre and toilet was very clean and didn’t have any toilet smell. And I must say the popcorn is really super duper nice as compare to other Shaw outlet (nex). Popcorn was evenly coated with lots of sugar and the freshness of the popcorn is definitely on the spot, was very crispy and tasty ! Thumbs up
