Our first time at this restaurant and we were pleased with the service and food served here. For those who want to have authentic Teochew dishes, this is the restaurant for you. Reservation has to be made in advance if you want to sit in the air-conditioned area where there are only 6 big tables. We sat outside but there were ceiling fans which made where we were seated comfortable enough. We ordered 2 main dishes and a dessert and the portion was more than enough for the two of us. The steamed fish is so fresh and delicious so were the prawn rolls. We even had to dapao 4 pcs of prawn roll home. There is no service charge here too which will make your meal even more affordable and enjoyable.

I like the flavors of food served. The food could be fresher but I guess their traffic was not high enough for the turnover of the ingredients. My parents had their wedding dinner here 30 years ago. It also seems that their decor remained the same for past 30 years which brings back old school vibe.

Great teochew restaurant in the heartland of hougang. Food is fantastic and hearty. Highly recommended especially their steam fishes.
