Sinpopo Brand

I’ve tried 3 cakes from them so far, the first being the Basque Burnt Cheesecake, followed by the Gula Melaka Cake, and finally the Kaya Cake, coincidentally, in order of preference as well. I’ve also had their Bread Pudding, which was really good. Can’t wait for the next birthday celebration so I could try more of their cakes!

Hands down the best accessibly-priced confectioners in Singapore! I’m not a fan of cakes, and in fact, I’m just not a fan of desserts in general. But I find myself unable to stop eating the cakes from Sinpopo Brand. I’ve tried 3 cakes from them so far, the first being the Basque Burnt Cheesecake, followed by the Gula Melaka Cake, and finally the Kaya Cake, coincidentally, in order of preference as well. The Basque Burnt Cheesecake was so luxuriously dense and rich with perfectly balanced flavors. The Gula Melaka Cake was a delightfully spongy and light cake, with a deliciously sweet gula melaka glaze. The Kaya Cake was a creamy and fluffy stack that was really fragrant, though I felt it lacked the depth in flavor and had a pedestrian texture, especially when compared to the other two cakes. Friendly staff ! She was cutting a cake and ask if I like to order that too and ended up ordering two slices (Pandan Kaya and the three layers of milk cake). It was great recommendation. Will go back again to try more flavours.
