Chalk Farm

The Cheese Bingka is so good! I like that there’s a balance of sweetness and saltiness in every bite. And the chocolate crinkles are heavenly! It reminded me so much of my childhood. As someone who grew up in Manila, seeing these Filipino-inspired treats genuinely makes my heart (and tummy) full. The bakes are rustic, and yet there's an underlying sophistication in it. Great Job guys!.

The cakes size are bigger than the rest. I love the dark chocolate olive, strawberry cake, kueh salat and etc. is yummy and delicious.

Whenever I crave for something sweet, I turn to Chalk Farm as I know I will not be disappointed. I like their cakes a lot because they're moist, fluffy and not too sweet. Extremely surprised by the low rating on Google Reviews (I just ordered their Pistachio & Rose cake and was so happy with it) that I decided to leave a more positive review, reflective of all the times I've ordered. I've never been disappointed! However, I usually order delivery from GrabFood and have never been to the store in person so that could explain the difference? Also for context, their GrabFood rating is at 4.6 stars... go figure.
