Palelai Buddhist Temple

Today marked a meaningful Kathina Celebration at Palelai Temple. The event began with a vibrant food carnival, where an array of delicious dishes, generously sponsored by devoted supporters, were served. Despite a light drizzle, spirits remained high as devotees eagerly participated in the Pindapata (Alms Round), joyfully offering food to the monks. The day’s key highlight was the Kathina ceremony, a deeply significant moment where devotees presented robes to the monks, symbolizing their gratitude and support for the monastic community.

Beautiful temple in the East, nice place to find peace. Monk is very friendly.
