Tried the Chocolate Old Fashioned Donut from St Leaven, and it honestly exceeded expectations. The donut has a beautifully crisp and crunchy exterior with just the right amount of density — that satisfying old-fashioned texture that pairs so well with a hot drink. It’s dipped in a generous layer of dark chocolate glaze, which is smooth, slightly bitter, and perfectly balanced — not overly sweet like most donuts elsewhere. What really impressed me is the value for money — at just $1.90, it feels like an absolute steal given the quality. If you’re looking for a quick, affordable, and satisfying treat while shopping in Orchard, this is a must-try. Will definitely be back to explore more from their range of Japanese-style pastries.

Attracted by their marketing for the Yuzu and Chocolate Buns ($2/pc). But was not as soft or pillowy as I expected. The coffee bun ($1.20/pc) is also only half the quality of Rotiboy, with no buttery centre or a intense coffee crust (tasted more sugary instead).

Nice variety of cakes to choose from, and the price is very reasonable. We ended up getting the original strawberry cake, and there are fresh strawberries inside the cake too. Delicious!! Candles are provided, you just need to let them know how many you need.
