Puffs And Peaks Bakery

Puff and peaks makes me want to move to Tampines. They are my favourite favourite bakery in Singapore and it's very hard to pick favourites here. They constantly have new items on their menu so it's always fun to discover new creations and dishes but my all-time favourite has got to be their chocolate friands. I once bought 8 slices...for myself.......:)

Have tried their usual donuts (vanilla, chocolate, Hojicha) before, but didn’t really get the hype. Got their sour cream and chives and the seasonal hazelnut donuts this time and wow! The hazelnut was nutty and not too sweet, and I liked that they didn’t just use Nutella but really grinder the hazelnuts! It’s like an elevated version of their chocolate donuts.

Their donuts are soft with generous filling, not greasy at all. Despite eating them a day later, they still taste good. My favorite is the blackcurrant peanut butter flavor. The lemon curd is a little sour for me. Will definitely be back for more even though its an hour journey. Compared to the doughnut shack, I prefer P&P because of their donut dough.
