Lovely place with very friendly sincere owners and staff. I have previously emailed them about gluten and vegan options for a customized fruit tart and they were very quick to reply and even offered some suggestions. Even though, I eventually didn’t take up their suggestions, I was very keen to check out the place. Got there at 430pm just before their closing time and managed to get a last piece of passionfruit Florida tart for takeaway. The kind owners also offered a 20% discount. Tart was generously topped with a layer of passionfruit, light cream and lemon curd. Very fragrant and so summery. Good sourish tones and very nice buttery tart crust. I love the old school style pleats on the crust which you seldom see in modern bakeries. I wish the lemon curd was a tad less sweet though. But still it was delicious and am keen to try their other bakes now! Also love the pretty sparkly silver takeaway box.

Visited on a weekday morning for a sweet start to the day - to try the Jardin strawberry shortcake that my fiancé had been raving about. Even though the strawberry shortcake was from yesterday, it still tasted great! The soft spongey cake, light cream and slight sweetness from the strawberries just came together. We paired it with iced latte, which was quite good considering their focus is on pastries. We also tried the gula melaka scone which was fresh out of the oven! Really delightful gula melaka aroma and crumbly texture, which led us to try another of their scones - dark chocolate earl grey. This was really good too! Light earl grey fragrance and slightly melty dark choc chips. We were so impressed we decided to order them as wedding favours for our big day next year. Hoping our guests will enjoy them as much as we did! Can’t wait.

Ordered strawberry shortcake and it was great! The cake was light, not too sweet and the strawberries were not really sour. They also pasted a tape on the bottom of the cake board to the box, to ensure that it doesn't move around during delivery. Not many cake shop does it. Will definitely want to try other cakes.
