Fredo's Baker

Bakery-hopping at Sunset Way since there are like 3 bakeries right next to one another! Been wanting to try the Mixed fruit tart here ever since lockdown (coz tempted by lots of group buys). It wasn’t cheap at $14, but totally worth e price for the abundance of sweet blackberries, blueberries & strawberries, & love the addition of fig! Got a couple of bread such as the Curry potato with pesto sliced egg & Pepper chicken with seaweed, which were really soft & packed full of filling! & bought a Chocolate ganache danish from the adjoining pastries counter.

Looking for nice bakery in the west and found Fredo’s. Went around 2plus in the afternoon and some items were already sold out (good sign since that usually means they have great stuff). Items are bigger-sized than the typical pastries and I love love love the the dark chocolate malt tart (I think that’s the name) and the macadamia tart! Totally didn’t disappoint!

Best carrot cake I have had in the world. The owner trained in Paris apparently and he is an amazing pastry baker. Other cakes are top quality as well- better than 5 star hotel quality! Highly recommend.
