Butter & Cream Bakery

Chanced upon this muffin stall when I was visiting a client months ago. Being a sweet pastry lover, esp muffins, I couldn't resist buying some home esp with their deal of buy 8 free 2, which worked out to be $20.80 for 10. I had the nutties muffin and fell in love with it. Surprised by the different types of nuts hidden inside the muffin (1 of each type), and most importantly, it is NOT too sweet. My neighbours whom I shared with, also love the chocolate ones. Thereafter, I recommended to my family and they too love the muffins.

Got to try one of their popular muffins this week. The blueberry muffin was really moist, light crumb, delicious and sweetness level done just right. One of those rare muffins that doesn't harden up rock solid in the the fridge so still maintains a tender bite even when eaten the next day. Of course its best while fresh. Do look them up if you're around the area.

The original egg tart is good, the tart shell is firm yet crumbly when bite into. The egg custard's sweetness is just nice. The blueberry doffin's texture is similar to that of a tea cake.
