Substance Films did stand out among others since the beginning as we searched for our wedding videographers. We didn't think long to engage Yang, as we heard many graduated brides raving about his quality. We engaged Soon for the prewedding shoot, and Yang with Soon for our wedding day. For our prewedding shoot, Soon really blew our mind with the angles, the edits, the overall quality of the video. It was really sweet - just like how we wanted it or even more, it truly exceeded our expectations. We originally planned for two venues, but apparently, the second venue was closed and we only knew after we completed shooting at the first one. Soon quickly suggested an alternative venue, which turned up really beautiful or even better than the original venue we requested. He shared the first draft with us and asked if there's anything we don't like which he could still edit, we couldn't stop replaying it and loved it's every bit, there's nothing we wanted to change. We played it before our first march-in on the wedding day, we received lots of compliments for that video. As for the wedding shoot last Sunday, while we have not seen the final product but are very sure we're in good hands. In every shooting location, Yang and Soon would immediately look for spots, angles, props, giving us all the directions and guidance. They made us assured all are taken care of, including working together with photographers and live-stream camera operators. During the dinner as we enjoyed our meal, we could see them moving around capturing moments around us.

Hi! We have engaged Substance Films as highly recommended by friends and they are no doubt one of the best vendors we have had. We engaged Zech (alongside his second shooter) and he had made the process very professional, relaxing and enjoyable. Zech is very experienced and he is able to guide us throughout our shoots, providing us tips to pose which made us crack in laughter. We were super amazed when we saw his raw clips and knew then we had made the right decision to let him film the biggest night of our life.
