A tranquil and serene hike to an unexpectedly beautiful lookout point. A lot less strenuous than the hike to the summit, taking no more than 15 minutes each way to the lookout point. Morning is probably the best time to visit where you can see turtles and an unreal reflection of the opposite cliff, almost like a mirror reflection.
Nice little morning walk up a little forest slope to a little lake formed by an abandoned quarry, listening to the birds chirping and insects singing. Even meet eye to eye a pair of naughty squirrels over an overhead fallen tree branch!
The goal was to visit the ex-quarry that’s currently a serene lake with surrounding fauna and wild insects, birds and animals. A good walk to get fresh air, easy accessible and short trail to the quarry. There’s also a mountain bike trail, don’t use that for walking.
