The Butterfly Garden at Changi Airport is an enchanting oasis that adds a magical touch to your travel experience. Located within the bustling airport, it offers a tranquil escape where you can admire hundreds of vibrant butterflies in a lush, tropical environment. The garden is beautifully designed with a variety of plants, flowers, and even a cascading waterfall, creating the perfect habitat for these delicate creatures. I visited during a layover and was amazed by how well-maintained and immersive the garden is. The interactive educational boards are a nice touch, providing fascinating insights into the life cycle of butterflies. Watching them flutter freely around you, or even land on you, is an unforgettable experience. It’s a unique attraction that truly sets Changi Airport apart from others. Whether you have a short layover or extra time before your flight, the Butterfly Garden is a must-visit!
Butterfly garden hardly takes about 10-15 mins to explore. You can take a skytrain from T2 F50 gate which gets you to T3 terminal and if you continue to walk for about 500-700 metres, you'll get the escalator or the lift to the butterfly garden directly. It is well maintained and has many butterflies. Care has to be taken to ensure you don't trample on them if they are resting on the floor.
Really nice place to visit if you have time to spare at Changi. It has 2 floors so you can enter from either floor. It is close to the cinema. It is open 24 hours.
