Cold Storage West Coast Plaza

I always found this Cold Storage to be strategically located to serve my needs. The ready cooked food section is one of the key highlights for a quick meal, and occasionally they have good promotions especially if you are a you member, but of cos expect the meat to not always be so juicy and soft as it might have been prepared way too early in advance. Hence, grabbing these food at around lunch time is better than getting them at the end of the day. The promotion I spoke about, could apply to all day round or it may be specific to the hour of the day. Apart from cooked food, there are some occasional price slashing which are embedded in their stockpile, so browsing may allow you to get a good find. I only wished that they made offers more obvious rather than having to browse isle by isle. People who want to find goat cheese can likely find it here compared to other supermarkets.

A supermarket with lots of gourmet food and wines. You can check out a wide selection of Japanese food, frozen food, ice cream and even different types of condiments. There were also less crowd during off peak hours. Do expect slightly higher prices than your usual neighbourhood supermarket. If you are looking for a relaxing buy at supermarket, this will be the right one for you.

The supermarket is a convenient place to get our groceries, they have everything from fresh produce, a small deli and a bakery amongst the usual supermarket fare.

I would like to share my experience at Cold Storage West Coast today 21/7/26 This morning, I bought an ice cream and was about to pay using contactless payment on my phone. Unfortunately, the payment did not go through. A female staff chinese ( forgot to ask her name) who was slim, approached me and said, “Your phone got problem, not my machine,” in a rude tone. I understand that technical issues can happen, but I was disappointed by the way I was spoken to. I felt that the staff member was dismissive and lacked courtesy. A more polite and helpful approach would have made the situation much better. I hope this feedback can be shared with the store so that staff are reminded to treat customers with respect and professionalism, even when payment issues occur. - Cel Reply
