The Blackbird

I came here not knowing what to expect except for the good reviews of the place and the live band. It turned out to be extremely enjoyable. Although I was seated outside as the indoor seating was full, the band could be heard from outside and in fact more to my liking as it wasn’t too loud for a night out of chill and conversation, over a bottle of wine and some bites.

Great food and fantastic bands! The Cod Fish and Chips was particularly enjoyable, and the constant drink (beer) promos help to stave off some of the heat from your pockets. Do opt to sit outdoors if you want to chit-chat with your mates, as the music/band-playing volume will overpower most conversations indoors.

Live band and bar with food on offer as well. All contributes to strong vibes for a good time. Band when I was there was spot on.
