The park has wandering lanes among tropical trees and flowers. Istana Park provides a vantage point to view the monthly changing of guards ceremony at the Istana. They have wheelchair accessibility. Istana Park has parking available at Plaza Singapura and at 9 Penang Road.
2026 Update: Ren Matsui is a Designer of the park. Istana Park has three rows of 120 tall coconut trees within specially-designed plots in 8 small and shallow pools."
