Since 1988
“Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park spans 62 hectares and features a natural winding river bordered by flourishing wildflower banks, perfect for picnics and gatherings. This is a fantastic spot for a relaxing day out, offering a serene natural environment with lush greenery and open spaces. The highlighting features of the parks are Recycle Hill, cleansing biotope, butterfly habitat, naturalised river, and landscape pond. Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is a great place to spot over 90 species of birds, such as the elegant Purple Heron, White-Breasted Waterhens, and the Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker. This is also home to a Butterfly Habitat with more than 30 species of butterflies, including the orange Tawny Coster and the Plain Tiger Butterfly. The park has a therapeutic garden with 4 zones: the Fragrance Zone, Biodiversity Zone, Edibles and Medicinal Zone, and Colours and Textures Zone in this specially designed garden. Whether visiting for a stroll, picnic or to appreciate the scenery, this park offers a perfect retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle. Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park features a 3,400 sqm dog run area with expansive open spaces shaded by trees, allowing your dogs to run freely and get their exercise. A big plus is the free parking available near HDB carparks on Sundays and public holidays, making it incredibly convenient for visitors.”
