Zi has been teaching my son J for 5 years to date and is instrumental to my son’s journey as a drummer and percussionist. Zi is a wonderful teacher who makes learning fun and exciting. His passion in music shines through his teaching. He is patient and calm and bonds well with children. He has vast knowledge in drums and every percussion instrument. The results speaks for itself. My son is now thriving as a percussionist in his school band.

Teacher Zi is an accomplished professional and also a remarkable drum teacher. My son has been learning drum with him for 4 years and he really enjoys every class. Teacher Zi has a great style of teaching. His patience and motivation always make the kids willing to accept challenge and work hard. During the past 4 years, we could see the kid’s rapid progress obviously. Thanks to Teacher Zi and we feel so fortunate to have met him.

When I was preparing for my percussion exam, I sought the help of Zi and never regretted it. He always found creative ways to help me get over barriers I faced in my playing, using targeted practising to help in my technique. His personality is also a plus, with him being humble and patient despite being an incredibly far-reaching percussionist. High recommended.
